Artist since late 2021, not a freelance artist, but rather a hobby of mine. My artworks are all digital and range from abstract art to hot rods. Yes, you read that right, I design my own little digital hot rods because I enjoy creating something new. My artworks follow the motto: "I create art that brings me joy."
"Overclocked(_design) - A name that I originally used for my own T-shirts and still love five years later. However, I now see this name more as my artist name as well as a brand. It actually describes me quite well, since I'm usually a fun and upbeat guy."
I definitely inherited my creativity from my mother. When I was young, she was always crafting something out of clay pots or wood. She did it mostly to relax and take a break from the daily routine of work and taking care of us kids. I am very grateful to her for this creativity because it is reflected in all of my hobbies today, whether it's reenacting with my Willys Jeep or building model cars.
Why digital art?
I create digital artworks to express my creativity and also to distract myself from the daily routine of work. However, I also chose digital art for an important reason - time. Time becomes very precious when you become a dad, and to spend as much time as possible with my son, I chose digital art because it is more easily accessible. I can easily pick up my tablet in the evenings when my son is asleep without having to set up anything. I can simply take it and start painting. I also paint a lot with my son to show him that creativity is a wonderful way to express oneself.
Alright, I think that's enough from me.
Finally, just a small piece of information:
All of my artworks are Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) that you can purchase and collect in your crypto wallet. This makes the artworks unique and cannot be duplicated or counterfeited.
